After many years of dialogue programming on the machine control, VMI chooses to invest in CAM.

Machines
The machine fleet is modern and extensive, most of the machines are made by Mazak. Here you will find a wide range from simpler three-axis milling machines to advanced multi-function machines (Integrex) with simultaneous five axis capacity. Over the years, the machines have mostly been programmed via Mazak's own control system (Mazatrol), but gradually the need to quickly program more complex parts has grown.
VMI selected GibbsCAM
After a long process selecting the CAM solution, VMI AB decided to invest in GibbsCAM. Four machinists have now received a tailored course (customer and machine specific training) in CAM programming to get the most out of the fine machinery.
